SWOT: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. We teach you how to do it
SWOT is an internal analysis to know the current state of the subject of study. It serves to know the skills in which we are better developed, as well as some areas of opportunity and weaknesses we have.
We share with you the step by step instructions on how to create your SWOT:
- Define the objective for which you want to carry out the study. If it is to have medium-term objectives or if it is to improve in the areas of opportunity.
- Define your main threats, these are caused by external factors that influence the environment.
- Opportunities are external and are taken from the environment to improve. List some that can be worked on in the short or medium term, and that can be implemented in your space or workplace.
- What are my strengths? Strengths are all the advantages we have to achieve our objectives, they also help us to obtain better results in our day to day work.
- Detecting your weaknesses, they are internal negative factors that hinder or obstruct us in the realization of our plans. They represent obstacles to achieve objectives.
- The ideal is to take advantage of all the positive aspects to improve those internal and external areas of opportunity and to be aware of what is hindering progress towards the achievement of objectives and goals.
