Finding a new job is a challenge, during the confinement part of the interviews or selection processes were solved through digital tools, increasing the complexity of the situation. Know what not to do during a virtual job interview.

1. Having a bad connection

One of the main errors that occur in these processes is due to a bad connection, try to be close to the modem or connecting through the ethernet cable.

2. Clothes to wear

When applying for a new position, it is essential to take care of your attire and meet the expectations through your outfit. If it is an executive profile, you should dress like that; while if it is something operative you can opt for another type of clothing. Always making sure that it is related to your profile.

Try to practice beforehand what you would answer to general questions, to avoid rambling. Remember to be confident and honest with all answers.

4. Do not speak ill of previous work

A common mistake in face to face and online interviews is to speak badly about previous jobs. This, beyond benefiting the recruiter, represents a bad image of the applicant and nothing guarantees that in the future will not speak the same about the company to which is applying.

5. Workplace 

Make sure that space, where you will conduct the interview, is free of ambient sounds or interruptions that may hinder the conversation. As an added bonus, if the background is visually pleasing, it will add points to the interview.
